New York Circa 1909
This innovative and immersive play focuses on the Jewish immigration experience in America, specifically New York, exploring the full range of Jewish life at the time. Be transported back to 1909 and guided through parallel moments as a tumultuous, turn-of-the-century weekend unfolds. And be enraptured by a unique, interactive theater experience.
We begin on Friday, just before Shabbat. The Sunday wedding looms heavily over the bride and groom and the families involved, highlighting the tensions and challenges that accompany a new world: old vs new, tradition vs opportunity, religion vs assimilation.
**This is an immersive theatrical experience which requires standing for parts of the performance and stairs which do not allow for wheelchair access.**
Masks and proof of vaccination required.
